Lord Lexden joins the Lords Select Committee on the Constitution

On May 23 he attended his first meeting as a new member of one of the most important of the Lords Committees.

Chaired by Baroness Jay of Paddington, the 12-member Committee examines the constitutional implications of all public Bills coming before the House and conducts inquiries into issues of constitutional significance. It has just started an inquiry into the accountability of civil servants.
